Job Description

We are looking for a talented Architectural Drafter/Technician to join our dynamic team specializing in the design and fabrication of prefabricated wood structures. You will participate in the creation, modification and finalization of technical drawings necessary for the realization of various projects (residential, commercial, agricultural, multi-unit housing), while respecting the highest construction and quality standards. Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce technical plans and drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).

• Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure the accuracy of plans and compliance with applicable standards.

• Participate in the development of technical details and the updating of drawings as needed for the project.

• Ensure the reading, interpretation, and verification of architectural and structural plans.

• Work closely with other departments to ensure a smooth transition between design and production.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of drawing and documentation processes.

Requirements

• Relevant Diploma: DEC in Architectural Technology or DEP in Building Drafting (or equivalent).

• Proficiency in computer-aided design software (AutoCAD required; Revit or other CAD software an asset).

• Excellent ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

• Knowledge of applicable building standards in Quebec (an asset).
